Accumulation in the hot natural water of mineral sediments (iron) - Furmas, Azores

A community collaborative series based on the word "Water".

Thanks to Damon for organizing this excellent theme. For those of you that didn't get to participate, hopefully this is the start of a new aminus3 tradition with many more opportunities to come.

Criativa.

Stu from Kyoto, Japan

Took me a moment to realize what I was looking at! Could be the surface of Mars. Wonderful abstracty take on the theme.

@Stu: Hi Stu, It is important to explain you that the work is a tank with medicinal rich water in iron. The existent blisters are a spring of very hot water mingled with gases and minerals. Thanks for your comments!

Rui Borges from Sintra, Portugal

Funny how the eye reads things into abstract patterns: I see little buffalo carvings in the deposits :)

Amazing beauty, with just those little bubbles to let you know that we're looking through water. Fascinating.
